Senior Manager

Location: Richmond Hill, ON  |  Status: Full-time, Permanentt


The Senior Manager must have at least five years’ experience in a public accounting firm. The Senior Manager is a professional who will provide efficient and reliable tax, accounting, assurance and business support to our clients. The successful incumbent must have a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting and Auditing Principles and Canadian taxation to be able to carry out and supervise field work in a variety of engagements.



  • Review and contribute in the planning and implementation of Notice to Readers and Reviews.

  • Assist with Federal and Provincial government audits and queries and liaise with tax authorities on assessments and appeals.

  • Utilize accounting knowledge to provide advice to clients on various matters.

  • Tax research and tax planning on various matters.

  • Effective communication with our clients, CRA, partners and staff.

  • Organization skills which would facilitate dealing with many clients at the same time.

  • Following a project from beginning to end while ensuring to take ownership of the file.

  • Develop positive relationships with clients

Education & Experience


  • 3-5 years of CPA, CA experience in Public Accounting.

  • Previous experience with small/owner managed businesses.

  • Ability to flourish in a fast paced environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Exceptional technical skills and a fine attention to detail.

  • Strong computer skills – QuickBooks, Caseware, Taxprep, and Microsoft Office.
